Continuing the work done in the year 2015, the Uruguayan Ministry of Public Health worked in agreement with DATA Uruguay to create a platform to publish information on health services in the country, in a friendly manner. This platform allows users to compare among different providers in areas such as waiting times, performance targets and cost of medicine. This project is conceived as the first step of a broader project to reinforce the dissemination of information with a rights perspective and the participation of citizens. This project was funded by the Ministry of Public Health and the small grant program of the Latin American Initiative for Open Data (ILDA), supported by Avina Americas.
