Gisele Craveiro

PhD in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo and since 2005 she has been researching issues related to access and exchange of public information as well as that financed with public resources. She is a professor at the University of São Paulo (USP), teaching subjects in her undergraduate courses and accredited in the Graduate Program in Social Change and Political Participation. She is co-founder and coordinator of the Participation and Collaborative Development research group at the University of São Paulo (Colab-USP). She had the opportunity to participate in the construction of the governance of the Alliance for an Open Government in Brazil, was a member of the Management Committee of the National Open Data Infrastructure and was co-founder and first president of the deliberative council of Open Knowledge Brazil. She is a member of the Latin American Open Data Initiative (ILDA) and the International Open Justice Network (RIJA).
