Empatía: Empatía is a  project that seeks to understand and develop new knowledge about the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to solve public problems.

Open Data for Development: aims to expand knowledge on femicides and data on migration.

Data, Artificial Intelligence and Society: Workshop held in Montevideo in March 2020, brought together a group of experts from the Global South to discuss the current state of data for development

Global Data Barometer: The Open Data Barometer aims to understand the prevalence and impact of open data initiatives around the world through a detailed methodology that combines data from contextual technical evaluations and global reports.

Regional Open Data Barometer: The Regional Open Data Barometer uses the Global Barometer methodology to understand the impact and trends of open data initiatives in Latin America.

Mapping of violence against LGBTIQ + people in Central America: This project aims to contribute to improving conditions to safeguard the life and integrity of LGBTIQ + people, through the improvement of data that facilitates the implementation of security measures.

2019

Inter-American Development Bank

Femicide Data Standard: Project for the standardization of femicide data in Latin America, has advanced in two phases. The first phase focused on the design of designing a research methodology that resulted in a guide to protocolize femicide identification processes, and the second phase consists of a new version of the Femicide Data Standard.

Open State and Open Data: Trainings of public servants in Mendoza (Argentina) and AGESIC (Uruguay). A teaching staff was in charge of developing the contents and a group of tutors who accompanied members of the civil service through five modules.

Participation and equity in public procurement: We carried out two research projects on diversity and inclusion in public procurement in Latin America. The first focused on the participation of women in public procurement and the second on citizen participation initiatives in public procurement.

Local Open Contracting Initiatives: Local Open Contracting Initiatives (LOCI) supports stakeholders in local Open Contracting initiatives that strive to make public procurement more efficient, transparent and accountable.
