ILDA’s Gender, Security and Data program seeks to explore how the interaction between civic technology tools as well as the use of open data, by governments and social organizations, could contribute to preventing, understanding and, eventually, to act on gender violence.

The program explores two lines of work:
1) production and standardization of data related to feminicides/femicides in the region; Y
2) use of civic technology tools to potentially alleviate gender violence.
